Salt Kiss by Sierra Simone

I don’t know how Sierra Simone does it, she just makes you fall so desperately in love with her characters.

Tristan, a recent veteran with PTSD, finds renewed purpose as his new uncle-in-law’s bodyguard. His very charming, handsome uncle-in-law. Who also happens to own a kink club for the wealthy, famous, and powerful. Tristan falls quickly into heated obsession and becomes Mark’s submissive. But Mark has his secrets, and Tristan isn’t sure how long their relationship will last, or how long it’ll take for Mark’s secrets to catch up with him.

The spice was fun and HOT. Melted wax hot. And Tristan and Mark’s chemistry? PIPING. Ha. Mark’s growing affection for Tristan just made the spicy scenes increasingly better and better.

I am also sooo invested in the slow burn plot. The danger juxtaposes the kink so nicely. I can’t say much without giving too much away, but IT IS SO GOOD. I just love how we spiral with Tristan into obsession; the pacing, the metaphors, the relevance of dreams, it all just weaves such a compelling story of love and lust.

My only critique is not everyone can be in love with Mark… can they?
