what does this author put in these books?? I am writing this review at 1:15 in the morning bc I had to stay up and finish this mystery. Only gave it 4 stars because it took a minute to get juicy and I put it down for a few weeks when I originally started it but once I picked it back up I was absolutely hooked . Just like strange houses, this book has left me with such a deeply unsettling feeling in my stomach and this one felt even more believable that strange houses. It paints the picture of a woman in a complete downward spiral but it’s pieced together so ingeniously and unraveled like you’re pulling the thread of an old sweater. Addictive and the right amount of scary for me. Highly recommend to people who enjoy that feeling of being unable to stop flipping pages!!
