The Day the World Stops Shopping: How Ending Consumerism Saves the Environment and Ourselves by J.B. MacKinnon

challenging dark informative medium-paced

4.0

I thought this was going to be super bleak and depressing when I started, or at the very most some kind of guide on how to reduce your footprint, but it ended up being a fascinating look at how we consume everything. From shopping for clothes to using the heating and cooling in our homes. I highly recommend it to anyone concerned about their consumption in the modern world!!! I really appreciate how MacKinnon doesn't make you feel like a horrible person for Existing lol.
