“And though this story does have its monsters, I’ve found that it is not one that can be so easily divided into the good and the bad. In the end this was a story about people and their different shades of desperation, crashing up against each other.”

this book cures my reading slump. it is very fast-paced, and i’m so eager to know about the mystery. i love Pip as a character, i want to have focus like her, she is very bold and brave and i see this as a strong character that you can trust her opinion, she is also astute and i love how kind and thoughtful she is. i can’t predict the plot twist, and this book had no plot holes. Personally, i don’t really like Ravi's character and approach to the case at the beginning, i felt like he just being a shadow from this book, i wish i could get him more involved and be explained as one bold individual.

i have teary eyes when they bring Sal, and i didn’t expect this reaction would come out when i read ya-mystery book.
