Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

It has taken me 12 days to read the entire Throne of Glass series and it has become much loved. Kingdom of Ash being the culmination has had me on tenterhooks for the full 12 days, would the mania lead to a spoiler or would I get to the end blissfully ignorant? I managed to stay relatively spoiler free. I love that we get to see more of Aelin and Rowan as they are my ultimate relationship. I also love in the most part that Maas didn’t have a mass exodus in a JK Rowling fashion. However, I do believe this could’ve been a lot shorter. A lot of the travelling and heavy descriptions could’ve been reduced a little. There was also a particular character who had no closure which seems to have been picked up with most fans so I’m pleased I spotted that! Also if you haven’t read A Court of Thorns and Roses then the crossover will be lost of you. I think one mini book in the future would be great as there was a lot left unsaid.
