First book of the series. Pretty good so far. Slower paced since the intricate plot is still being uncovered and there’s a lot of characters to learn about. 
A little hard to follow at times due to all of the names/people having 3+ titles. 
Not usually the biggest fan of cultivation stories but I trust I’ll get into it as the series progresses. 
MC’s are still quite a mystery so I don’t feel super attached to them yet. 
People who said this series is easier to follow than TGCF are full of 💩
