Nash and Zara and Alistair. Oh, what a trio. Again, more than even the spice (which was perfect), the story and the emotional upheavals that all three characters go through were just gut-wrenching. A shared, tragic event broke them apart and then brought them together again. Nash is such a broken person, lashing out at everything and not letting anyone help. Zara is lost and Alistair is realizing that what he wants may not be easy to keep. The three of them orbit each other and hurt each other and it is beautiful and maddening all at once.
