Manhunt by Gretchen Felker-Martin

5.0

Manhunt is a deeply fucked-up, intense, disturbing gory, bitter, sexy, funny, hopeful, beautiful novel. It made me cry, cringe, laugh, and on a couple of occasions, required me to put the book down while saying "ohhhhhhh" gently to myself and sitting in the quiet for a few minutes to recover. This is the first book I've ever read that's so unabashedly horny for trans and queer and fat people that it's made me feel full of my own sexiness in a way that's lingered. I'm going to read it at least a half-dozen times this year. Masterpiece.
