The Lies We Tell by Becca Steele
3.0

I found this series by accident, and I very quickly fell down the rabbit hole reading them. This was my introduction to Becca Steele, and I'm glad this is how it started! This is one of the few instances when a step-brother romance doesn't creep me out. This was more than a dark romance. It had a dirty secret, and it wasn't just a quick blip kind of mystery either. And it also didn't take away from the romance of the book. I do kind of wish that the enemies to lovers did just spin so quickly, and it could have lasted a little longer before they came to their senses.
