The Best Kind of Trouble by Lauren Dane

2.0

I got through the whole book, but at no point did I feel like there were actual stakes to the relationship. Natalie and Paddy just kind of drift along, very ostentatiously attempting to Have Conversations about their Issues, but Paddy is basically a spoiled rock star who doesn't understand why he can't fix it. The narrative kept telling me emphatically about their chemistry but I didn't really believe it. The side characters who are clearly sequel bait were more interesting, but I already know enough about them to predict how their stories are going to go, and thus have no interest in reading them.
