Make It Sweet by Kristen Callihan
4.0
This was such an adorable romance. I loved every minute of it. I have to say this book has been on my TBR for a while, ever since I heard it was grumpy/sunshine, a hero who bakes, and forced proximity. I mean ... if you know me those are boxes that I loved being ticked. So I figured I was going to like it but it was so much more adorable than I expected. And swoon-worthy scenes were just *chef’s kiss* pun intended. Ha! And speaking of the food ... did anyone else want to eat everything that Lucian made?? Anyways it was so so cute and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Ps..if you heard about the stuff surrounding this book I will put in my two cents here and say please show this author your support. She wrote a beautiful book and it deserves all the hype and the love. I was sad to hear that another author seems to have taking quite a few things from this book and copied it. I read some of the other book and in my opinion it’s pretty obvious. And I know some people say romances have the same troupes and although that is true ... there is a difference in troupes being similar and being exactly the same. This is the first time in reading a book where I felt like I was reading the same book. And I read a tone of books and the romance genre is one of my favorites. So lastly, my point in that little rant is to say, please show your support to Kristen Callihan. This book is a gem!
