This is an actual 5-star read for me. This book made me feel so light and comfortable.
I loved the relationship between Uncle Satoru and Takako. Over time, Takako gradually understands her uncle and develops a love for the Morisaki Bookshop. When Momoko arrives, Takako and I share the same feeling of dislike toward her at first. However, as the story unfolded, I felt warmth towards Momoko. Learning about her past with Uncle Satoru and the reasons why she left him and the bookshop made me cry. She is truly a mysterious yet cheerful person.
Characters like Wada, Sabu, and the coffee shop crew have all made a lasting impression on me.
I absolutely ADORE this book! I'm both excited and a bit apprehensive about the sequel since I've heard mixed reviews.
