If you're looking for a sweet, Christmas-y romcom, this could be the one.
There are a lot of characters to keep straight, and you're just dropped into the story with no explanation, but if you can hold on to get past that and into the story proper, you'll find a sweet story about finding things you didn't think you could find and the joy of letting go and going with the flow. (Although there's nothing wrong with a good plan!) If you read a lot of romcoms, there's not much here to surprise you, but that's not a bad thing; I really enjoyed reading this, and there's a lovely cosy feeling that evokes the very best of Christmas.
Holly's insistence on everyone loving Christmas did get a little grating, but I could mostly ignore that. It has some good things to say about social media, too, and I really appreciated those parts of the story. Social Media does have good parts, and they're often overlooked when people complain about the bad parts, so it's nice to see both sides.
I really enjoyed this, it's one I'll break out around this time of year again, and I heartily recommend it.
