I loved this book. I have listened to it and read it. The narrators were great.
You get to know the characters and their flaws. You see a real development in your two main characters. Plus you learn a bit about diving!
The dynamic between Scarlett and Lukas is really interesting and dynamic. Hazelwood could have easily made it just about sex, but they get to know each other in a deeper manner.
There were a few things that I didn’t love - the dropping of everything for Pen. And putting Pen before themselves. And that was a bit frustrating. But it was part of the story line and the development of the characters. I just found it infuriating.
I loved this story and hope to read it again. I would love if Ali Hazelwood did a small novella from Lukas’ perspective. Or a little insight on the time from the last chapter to the epilogue. I just need more. Ha!
