Taming Toxic People: The Science of Identifying and Dealing with Psychopaths at Work & at Home by David Gillespie

In contrast to authors such as Kevin Dutton, David Gillespie has no time for psychopaths and this is a handbook for empaths, faced with very bad behaviour.

I was onreading a Reddit thread some months ago, or maybe it was Quora. In any case, self-disclosed psychopaths were answering questions and I'm not so sure people lacking affective empathy are necessarily immoral, or even amoral. It seems to be a choice.

I'm therefore a bit hesitant to villify an entire category of neurodivergence. It will be interesting to see if activism speaks out in defence of the psychopath in the coming years.
