Honey Girl
by Morgan Rogers
This goddamn book is as beautiful as it is ugly. And what's more, Rogers shines a light on all those little ugly things, she holds them up to us, through her flawed beautiful characters and says hey, you can love this tender, bruised, monstrous part of yourself too.
This is a love story , but it's probably more than the love story you might take it for. It's love *stories*
It's no rom-com. It's no feel good. But it is cathartic, especially for someone who has walked in Grace's (or Yuki's or Raj's) shoes.
Please excuse me while I weep the rest of the day.
