Helena Hunting has done it yet again! She has again given us a fantastic book with truly amazing characters, which I have been waiting for since they were first introduced to us!

I Could Be Yours features Essie Lovelock and Nate Stiles, who have known one another since high school, where they shared a kiss and then Nate ghosts her for the next six years, where they eventually have to see and talk to one another again when they are thrown together to plan a wedding.

The tropes included in this book were some of my favorites, and it just made this all the more interesting. I truly adore reading a good second chance and enemies-to-lovers romances.

I truly adored Nate and Essie so much, and I was honestly so excited to get their story because I just knew they had a story to tell. From the moment I began reading I was completely sucked in and i just knew I had to keep reading to see exactly how their story was going to end and I was certanily not dissapointed.

Nate Stiles, for those who have read the Toronto Terror series, is the brother of Tristan Stiles. Although this can be read as a standalone, you will see some familiar faces. Anyways, when we are introduced to Nate, we see that he is a little grumpy and doesn’t show or express his feelings or emotions well, but despite that, you can just tell that he cares so much for his family.

Essie Lovelock is the polar opposite because she tries to find the positive in everything. She really is such a ray of sunshine, and I just adore her so much, and I just knew I was going to love her character so much when we were first introduced to her in the first Toronto Terror book as the main character Trix’s best friend.

The storyline between both Nate and Essie was perfect to me, and I just think they were the perfect pairing. It was nice to see the way Essie was able to break down some of Nate’s barriers, keeping him from showing his emotions and letting others in. They fit together so well that I did not want to put their book down until I finished it all. I loved that we were able to get glimpses of some of the other couples we have met before in previous books of Helena’s.

Helena truly knows how to bring us such a fun read with lots of spice, laughs, and emotions. I just love to read whatever she writes; she has such a gift for giving us books that we all love and adore. I highly recommend I Could Be Yours because it is a great book with such a fun plot and overall storyline that will leave you wanting more.
