The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

5.0

I started walking to work instead of biking just so I could hear Steven Fry's fantastic rendition of this book.

Terribly silly whilst also being incredibly witty, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a landmark in comedy writing that any author can (dare I say should ?) take inspiration from.

Quite possibly the most quotable book ever.

"The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't."
