I started this yesterday, for 20% in and thought maybe I should DNF this. Then I read a novella very quickly, and not wanting to decide what to read next, carried on with this until I got 35% in. I wish I hadn't bothered.
The two love interests have no personality. There's a sex scene between the main character and one of the love interests that was one of the most boring sex scenes I've ever read - and this was supposed to be a lust-filled love fest. It was so boring, there was no chemistry between the characters, and it was almost a fade-to-black in how little detail was given.
The concept is interesting but the execution isn't. The only parts I like are when Kirby is talking to his dragon Ri.
