If you guys follow me on some platform- Instagram, Goodreads, here on my blog or even Twitter, you’ll know how obsessed I have become over J. Daniels books. I read Sweet Addiction and Sweet Possession early this year and immediately fell in love!

I’ve been dying for Brooke’s book since I read the original 2 Sweet books early this year. At first, I wasn’t a big fan when she was introduced, but she quickly became one of my favorites in Sweet Addiction and Sweet Possession. I knew her story was going to be tough for her considering her character. Brooke works at Dylan’s Sweet Tooth (A.K.A. Dylan the girl who Sweet Addiction and Sweet Possession follows) making cupcakes. Not only does she love working there, she also loves sex. She doesn’t waste time getting what she wants, she goes after them as soon as they notice her.

Mason King has moved to Chicago to open up his own yoga studio. Ohh, did I mention hot yoga? :) Dylan’s Sweet Tooth happens to be right across the street from Mason’s studio and Brooke comes in to introduce herself. She’s only in for one thing, and that is sex with Mason King. Mason doesn’t just want sex with her, so he tries to convince her to go out on dates.

I loved when Mason was introduced in Bama Boys. At that point, I already knew he was getting a story so I was already excited. But to see them together in this story combining both series, I adored it. I love that we got to see some of the Bama characters in this! I love how this played out and I will be honest… I wanted to strangle both characters come the 88-90% percent mark.

I love that this was very character driven. It wasn’t based upon the sexual tension between Mason and Brooke. Let me tell you, there’s A LOT of it going on for sure. But I loved that we got to see more of their characters and the relationship that came out of it. This is also a big reason why I love J. Daniels books. Not only does she write about extremely sexy, swoon-worthy men that can’t possibly be real, she develops the characters so beautifully! I always fall in love with all her characters!!

I highly, highly recommend this book! That, and all her books. This is a stand-alone, however it continues after Dylan’s story, so if you haven’t read her books, you will be spoiled in what happens for hers.
