You ever read something you don't think you're going to enjoy, but end up having an amazing time?
This book was that for me. I truthfully thought this would maybe be a 3 star read. However, I had such a great time following the characters in their shenanigans. I love that we start the book in the middle of Lily in front of Shane's door about to enact her plan. We get the backstory in bits and pieces throughout the story.
My favourite part is how there's barely any plot. Most of the book is spent following Shane and Lily having fun throughout a long weekend. Katee Robert is a good writer and definitely knows how to entertain! I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.
