When I finished the book, I didn’t exactly know how to feel about it. Looking through reviews and realizing that it’s a retelling of Wuthering Heights helped me in order to understand my feelings.
The book drew me in after the first three chapters, yet those took me a bit. I loved the writing, yet I had to be awake and cheerful. Sometimes, the switches between the perspectives were a bit confusing. They just jumped from one character to another just by having mentioned the other character (hope that somewhat makes sense).
I started Hollis and all he did, yet in the end, I just felt sorry for him. There are a lot of TWs for this one (I do hope I got them all) and because of its tense character, I recommend reading the book when in a better mood.
