Buddy read with Maria ^^

Despite it being dizzying whilst I was trying to re-familiarising myself to who's who and getting reacquainted and centred within this world, I began to really enjoy this fast paced tempo of events unfolding. It gave it this sense of urgency which led to create this culture of panic that everyone in the EPO as well as the Freevers must have been feeling.

This was an entertaining and fast paced sequel. I found some plots to be quite predictable but there was one major one that really shocked me (and the casualties really was upsetting - it was so much darker a plot!)

I enjoyed seeing Eve taking charge in trying infiltrate and over throw the EPO and I really enjoyed the romance part too. I particularly liked that she began to display strong leadership qualities and take charge of her life, whilst dealing with some devastating truth reveals, and I enjoyed the strong scenes that extended the world building and side character inclusion.

I did struggle to keep track of who was talking at times, which caused frustration, but overall this was a good read, although I definely enjoyed the first book more.

Pick it up, give it a go and enjoy! >(^_^)<
