The Night Stalker: The Disturbing Life and Chilling Crimes of Richard Ramirez by Philip Carlo

5.0

“Swear on Satan you won’t scream.”

Wow, I devoured this book, Could not put it down. Philip Carlo did an incredible job with his research and attention to detail. While Netflix’s Night Stalker documentary about the 1980s serial killer who struck California was informative, Carlo’s book goes much more in depth with Ramirez’s childhood, trauma, family, and his groupies. He even goes as far as giving us a snippet of his one-on-one interview with the Night Stalker himself, quotes from “fans,” and a handful of photographs - including the horrific crime scenes.

This chilling book will give you goosebumps. Lock your windows.

A must for readers interested in true crime, psychology, & serial killers.

❗️TW: Graphic descriptions of abuse, sexual assault, rape, blood, killings, drug use, self harm, crime scenes, and included crime scene photographs.

Note: This book does not acknowledge the murder of 9 year old Mei Leung or the assault of 6 year old Anastasia Hronas.
