I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver

2.0

This is the first book with a non-binary character that I've read and I learned a lot about what it means to be a non-binary. And for that reason alone, I was able to finish the book.
I really think it is a very important story and representation however, I felt the writing is a bit tedious, the conversations between characters felt forced and obviously scripted. I also find the development of the characters very passive and aside from Nathan and Mariam, I feel like the other characters in Ben's friend group are simply fillers in the story. But Nathan is such a sweetheart so definitely worth the read.
