Middle school version of the Hunger Games, with absolutely none of the actual substance or messages that the Hunger Games had. Basically the continuation of Fluff from All of Us Villains.

On top of the lack of any excitement, this book was way too long, repetitive, and entirely predictable. The only "twist" (I use that term extremely lightly) in terms of character relationships felt so out of left field and like it was thrown in because the author couldn't figure out how else to solve a problem without unravelling a portion of the plot, as no other characters were close in proximity.
