A Robertson Family Christmas
by Kay Robertson
Full review on Faithfully Bookish
Reading A Robertson Family Christmas was even more entertaining than sitting down to watch an episode of Duck Dynasty. Hunter, a sullen teenager from the suburbs of Chicago, wins the opportunity to spend Christmas week with the extended Robertson family. His mom entered him in the contest and both parents encourage him to go, hoping he will benefit in some way. Korie Robertson wants to make sure Hunter gets to experience a full-fledge Robertson family Christmas but he shuts them out at every turn. The Robertsons don't give up on disinterested Hunter, they keep showing him love and sharing their faith. This story made me laugh and made me cry, it is full of good cooking, family, fun times, and faith.
