OKay first let me start by saying I dont know what author started the trend where they give a playlist for the book but I am obsessed! This one was so good and I felt very on brand for Lilith and Lucifer. Also the chapter headers of their names, I love the details of it! The flowers, the dagger and the necklace! Chefs kiss, plus it also flows with the theme so well. Small details are what always makes me swoon.

Spoilers!

Not only am I a Lilith apologist, I’m a Lilith fan! Her killing not one but TWO guys in the first few chapters, unfazed, if anything I agreed with her! Kill the professor who abused his position and her, yes. Kill her twins r*p*st, yes. Was I expecting her sister to be so cold towards her, no. Them dying! Like damn, if anything, I thought her killing spree would’ve last a little longer! But it’s okay because KAS IS BACK! I adore her and I’m here for her being the mentor for Lilith that I didn’t know I needed. Lilith and Lucifer’s small interactions so far have definitely been the sass that I needed cause only a badass woman can put the devil in his place 🫰🏾

Little Blair, yes! I’m so glad they showed her and how Lucifer genuinely cared for her and wanted her to be happy.

But Lucifer just kept making mistake after mistake like my dude, what’re you doing!?!? Please stop the dumpster fire you’re just pouring more gasoline on it with every lie! Don’t get me wrong I understood why he did what he did but at the same time he didn’t even give Lilith the chance. He had these expectations of her based off her reincarnation and when she didn’t meet them it was like he was punishing her! Come on dude. But I’m glad that Lilith went on her own and got to experience her own life. I really think Kas was trying to help them both when she told him to back off and let Lilith figure her life out on her own
Side note: Beazulbub was a skank in the first book and worse in this one! Yuck

Lilith was so sweet to Blair and I’m so glad we got to see that she was protecting her and I love knowing that Blair was taken care of because her bitch of a mother wasn’t doing it!

I’m really glad how their relationship turned out and that Lilith stood up for herself and let Lucifer know she wouldn’t be a secret. The way he announced her as queen though 🥵🥵🥵🥵

Finally got some insight on Kas and her life and yes, just everything yes! Please go back to Asmo and Stevie and protect them and please Sarah write  more amazing spicy scenes with them!

Overall this book blew me away and the plot had me hooked from the start! 5/5 for the plot for sure! Lilith and Lucifer are a great couple and Lucifer is an adorable dad to Mara and Blair and I loved seeing them as a family dynamic. The spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5/5. I can’t wait for Mara’s story in October! I need it today but I guess I can wait!
