I’m a little puddle on the floor. Lawson and Hallie are one of my all time favourite couples. Not only did it have 2 of my favourite tropes with single dad and age gap. But the combination of fluff and suspense had me melting. These two share a connection so deep after he saved her from a serial killer 5 years ago and she comes back to town and applies for the job of his son’s nanny. I adore how protective he is of Hallie, almost instantly. And I absolutely adore the relationship she has with his 3 sons. The way she is with Luke his oldest son, how she helps him through such a tough time and in return how protective he is of her as well had me sobbing. This little family warmed my soul and I love them so much.
