I loved this story!!!!! It was very well written and drew me in from the beginning. The characters were awesome and I loved the length. It's a longer book, which really lets the characters develop and the reader get to see them grow over time. Chase is a professional snowboarder and he has shields up around himself like crazy. He is nowhere near a place where he could really have a relationship. Brooke also has an emotional guard up regarding men. She has been hurt and so isn't sure she even wants a relationship. She is a professional photographer of sports. Brooke and Chase are drawn to each other though. They have a chemistry and attraction that they just can't avoid, even though they do their best. Chase rubs Brooke wrong when they first meet so she tries to deny the attraction for as long as possible. She would love to take pictures as he snowboards and hopefully get the shot she needs to win the Illumination Photo contest. Chase is very good at hiding his emotions, so Brooke doesn't realize what's going on with him. When she gets her chance, she tries to keep things professional to prove to Chase that she is good enough. I loved how this book flowed and developed! It was done extremely well. The book isn't fast paced but it never drags. I loved that I got to see so much of the characters. The sex is fairly explicit when it happens. I wanted to see Chase and Brooke figures things out from the beginning. They just fit together....they just have to figure out how to not screw that up. I would love to revisit them and I'd love to get to see the rest of the crew get their stories!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
