Moebius' world of Edena started with the story of ´Upon a star´. This was a commission by Citroen for a graphic story to express the company's style. After the success of this first volume Moebius decided to continue the worldbuilding and produce more stories of Stel and Atana. Completely original the work of Edena is dreamlike and beautiful. The author writes epic character development with passion transcending the work.
The linework and colouring is beyond comparison. Moebius is a hero among illustrators and this is one of his best works.
One of the most impressive graphic novels you can buy in a beautiful print edition.
