Elton John has a really good ghost writer, because I can't believe he wrote this by himself. This book is THAT good!

The book is not a tell-all, but a tell-most (he leaves out details of his first marriage). Elton John does not sugar-coat things; he owns up to all the horrible things he's done with his life. Sex, drugs and rock 'n roll for sure.

The one thing I didn't like was how John kept bringing up his terrible temper and it must be genetic as an excuse. I understand during his days of bad behavior that was acceptable, but I thought that was a rather lame excuse for why he STILL behaves badly once in a while. He's been through enough therapy where he must have had some teachings on how to handle his temper better.

One of the better celebrity memoirs out there, and I've read a lot of them!
