The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
by C.S. Lewis
A timeless classic, one of Lewis' best.
Something that stood out to me this time, was how Digory used Lewis' "Liar, Lunatic, or Lord" argument when told the story of Lucy finding Narnia in the wardrobe. He asks the siblings if Lucy is generally the more truthful one over Edmund, he then breaks down the story of the wardrobe and deduces that the story makes too much logical sense for a madman to conjure up, therefore, unless any other evidence prove otherwise, it's likely Lucy is telling the truth.
It's fascinating seeing Lewis apply his apologetics to his fiction, his storytelling is wonderful on it's own, but it adds another layer of depth knowing that a lot of the philosophical language and thematic material contained in his fiction, is expanded upon in his lectures, and non-fiction.
