Walter’s friends all agreed that he’s a little odd, but when he invites them all to a week away at a vacation house on a lake, they find it hard to turn them down. The house is seemingly perfect and stocked with anything they could ever want. But then something happens, and they discover that Walter is not who they thought and there’s something bigger going on. What will they do now that they know?
This is a delightfully disturbing and mind-bending and horrifying graphic novel. It was not what I expected, but it is much better than what I expected and is much better because of the surprise. The art is amazing and suits the story wonderfully. My only complaint is that trying to learn a dozen people all at once in a graphic and all their various interconnections is hard, but it is worth the brain power to keep it all straight. Really looking forward to seeing where this story goes.
