All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles
5.0
This was everything you love about a Catherine Cowles novel - small town suspense where everyone is suspect, protective heroes who fall hard for the FMCs, heroines who have subtle strength for enduring, and secondary cast of characters to love.
What I loved most is the True Crime Podcast angle. It added so much to what I already loved about her books. Through the couple, Cowles tackles the ideas of guilt and grief, and how those things shape you as you carry them through life. More than that, though, she showed that an HEA is possible, that you can carry them with you and honor those you love but holding them close in the big moments you will experience after their gone. Through Emerson, we got to see that the human spirit can endure and be happy, even if it looks different than what was planned when younger.
It’s a must read, for sure and one of my fave Catherine Cowles books!
