This book was a ride. I fully recommend listening to this on audio, it’s a duet narration and I do think it enhanced my experience. I had no idea what to expect going in, I knew it was a historical fantasy about a woman who ends up in a small town in Massachusetts called Fairydale when she learns that her biological father, whom she’s never met had passed and left her quite a hefty inheritance. Some weird things start happening when she gets to Fairydale, and I had no idea what was happening the majority of this book, and things just kept getting more and more wild but I loved it. The structure was so cool, and the romance, the absolute devotion of that man is unmatched by any book boyfriend you think you’ve ever had. He makes them look like just that, boyfriends. He is your new book husband.
