Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey

2.5

 "Honey-Girl."

:2.5:

I struggled through this one. His pet name for her haunted me through the whole book. The whole book is full of the ideas of a "man's job," and "men don't do that." I get that it's part of the character and how he was raised but the lack of communication and close-mindedness really infuriated me. I only had an hour left of this audiobook and I had to force myself to finish. I did like the level of attraction that Dom and Rosie have for each other, even after 10 years of marriage. I liked the sweet things they did for each other but I couldn't get past the pet name or the repeated reminder of what is a "man's responsibility."
