I’ve always enjoyed Evans writing and how she studies critically what she was taught to make her faith meaningful and how she incorporated doubt and questioning. She also shows a good understanding of the importance of questioning in Judaism and the idea of the commentary surrounding the text and the Mishnah. It is still quite shocking that she died so young.
