This one was a social class drama, with murder and other crimes mixed in. It kept me guessing the whole time! Plus, the plot was so different than other thrillers I’ve read lately, it made it extra entertaining.
There as a group of main characters, all told from Marcie’s point of view. Marcie married Jason and into the upper-class world of Savannah, GA. In their group is William, who just married a very young new bride from England after his wife passes. But then William is almost murdered and is in a hospital bed fighting for his life. The police have multiple suspects. Marcie has a questionable past. Keisha (the new bride) is stirring up all sorts of issues. Oh- and Jason’s ex wife Jacquie is back in town.
