What I enjoy most about Harper's books is how perfectly she creates the setting and the atmosphere, and how well she is able to structure the plot. This one was off to a bit of a slow start, but then it more than enough makes up for it.
My favorites in the Aaron Falk series are still The Dry and The Survivors, but they are honestly all little masterpieces.
