This book was intense. Really intense. It ends on a feel good, happy note with the epilogue, but most of the book is raw and emotional. This book is about mental health, grief and loss (in more ways then one). It's about trying to find your way while dealing with an identity crisis and feelings of inferiority. It's about depression and how it can profoundly impact every aspect of your life before you can even fully comprehend the fact that you're broken. We see the main characters absolutely break, then build anew. It is a masterpiece.
Graphic: Death, Miscarriage, and Sexual content
Minor: Toxic relationship
