One biased Tarnished here (sorry).

I enjoy taking a super dark game and making light of it. I love the goofy take they chose for this spin-off, and it tickles me immensely. Elden Ring players may enjoy this!

The utilization of in-game dialogue can feel off at times, but suppose that dissonance is how Aseo feels listening to them speak in Olde English. Really curious how they'll frame the scope of the game through his eyes. Only the strongest of players wear no armor---and he's reasonably vocal about how unreasonable the world and its inhabitants can be. Aseo is a walking reality check, while everyone's cranked on the silly-juice (my personal goof, do not quote me).

That being said, I don't know how non-players will take to it.  Comedy is hit-or-miss always, whether it's the physical/visual gags, or the subtle humor often lost on non-native speakers---and, uhh, gods forbid, a third layer of meta gamer-humor I won't know unless someone tells me, or I look it up (referencing gamerant's article about Aseo's name). Like, that's neat to know, but unnecessary to know too, you know? Fun stuff like that.

Ah. Should this be a 'trustworthy' source for lore purposes (if anyone is of the mind to consider this)? Who knows? Thinking too much would mar the experience (says the person going on about third meanings in a name). Anyway---

Overall, this manga is up my alley in regard to style and humor. Highly recommend if any of the above appeals!
