Aliens: Phalanx by Scott Sigler
4.0
This was a great read if you like the Alien franchise. I love that it didn't have a storyline with marines and modern warfare. The main characters were flawed but likeable, and you were definitely rooting for them.
I did find that the human villains were a little basic, but I also did find their actions believable. Sometimes the dialogue felt a bit repetitive, but it was also realistic.
The action scenes were GREAT, and the descriptions pulled me in and kept me there (I pretty much finished the book in a day). I think this was just a stand-alone, but I would read more Alien books in this world for sure.
