The Scythian Empire by Christopher I Beckwith
1.0
informative

It is more a lingustics book than an introductions to the Scythians. Like other reviews have mentioned it jumps all over time and space and somehow ends up claiming that both greek and chinese culture stems from the Scythians. This might be true, I do not know enough of about the topic to say for sure even after 8 hours of listening to this book. The entire argument is built on lingustics.

I did listen on 1.5x speed and found the narrator a pleasing voice. My main issue is that what this book is portrayed as is not what it is.
