Anya and the Nightingale by Sofiya Pasternack

4.0

Highly enjoyable, just like the first one, but the adventure takes place much further from home and so Anya doesn't get to interact with her family as much. I was so drawn in to Babulya's theological comments and guidance in book one, that as exciting as this book was I found myself missing that aspect. However, it is exciting that several new mysteries have been alluded to for the continuation of the series!
