The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas
3.0

Four scientists created the first time machine in the late 1960s. One of the four experiences a breakdown as an effect of the time travel. She leaves the group and the book explores how her life is forever changed. The other three continue with the experiment and build a large quasi-NGO with interesting legal, political, and financially frameworks and practices. The family of the fourth woman becomes involved inadvertently with the remaining women and lives become interweaved over the next few centuries. The book explores the mental health issues and cognitive effects of time travel.
