Pestilence by Laura Thalassa

5.0

Usually not a fan of slow burns - this one got under my skin though and I devoured this book in two days.

8/24/24 - reread and God I love this book

“I can feel it,” he says, not bothering to meet my gaze. His eyes move restlessly over the land. “My brother is waking.” I go cold all over. “What?” He won’t look at me, his body forced into a rigid stance. “Pray for the world, dear Sara. War is coming.”

Such a wild ending... it's noe time for War.
