"No Offence, But...": How to have difficult conversations for meaningful change by Gina Martin

challenging informative inspiring reflective sad slow-paced

4.0

I found this book challenging.

As someone who considers themselves quite open, it made me confront ideas on a range of topics. Often this was done quite compassionately but at times I did find it a bit heavy handed in approach.

This isn’t the type of book I was desperate to pick up and keep reading, as I had to engage more deeply in the reading. This led to me reading 1-2 essays at a time.

I did enjoy the contributors essays more as they felt more succinct. At times the ones from Gina Martin felt long winded, and I could feel myself struggling to maintain focus.

A worthy read for all people.
