New favorite author alert! A* for originality. The first chapter opens with Jen's son, Todd, being arrested for murder. When she wakes up the next day, Jen discovers the murder has not yet taken place. She is living backwards in time. Does Jen now have the opportunity to prevent the murder from ever occurring? I am obsessed with time travel and this was something different altogether. When Jen wakes up in 2003, for example, she wakes up in her body of that year. Gillian McAllister did such an amazing job in telling the story in backwards order without confusing the reader. I almost wondered if she wrote it forwards first; it was so flawless! I must also mention the book's cover. There were so many instances when a character was watching someone from the window. I loved that this was incorporated. Every time a happy little ‘Ding!’ went off in my brain. So many twists, so many intertwining characters, and so many "WTF!" moments... all with a dash of what it means to be truly in love. More, please!!!
