So I listened to this whole book and it, quite literally, covers two weeks. I am perplexed that this book has such high ratings because the “kids” are all adults who seem stunted. They all act like they are in high school. At any given time that call the FMC the “daughter of a junkie whore” or a gold digger. Repetitively. This is supposed to be a reverse harem, yet there is exactly ZERO spice. Like none. And I’m halfway through book 2 and still nothing. But there are 6 supposed interested parties. And the characters aren’t really fleshed out other than they are mean to the FMC. They have different names, different backgrounds and we learn close to nothing other than they all had it bad, got adopted and now hate the new girl. How does that happen?  Absurdity . I think I will probably finish book 2 (maybe) and then I’ll be done because WTF?! This long drawn out story is why I don’t bother with high school bully stories.
